Thanks Steven, I feel for you, after two z-plasties and still not healed? That's rough. I do think I'm winning now, it does seem to have been fine for a while, no discharge, just a bit of a twinge now and then. The wound does take a lot of looking after, I don't think I'll ever forget that it's there. The same thing happened to me, the wound worked it's way down over the course of all my operations and it's all a bit messy looking down there now, with scars and bits of flesh in a pretty uneven shape, but at least it's healed up this time.

Hi Colin, how has it been going since your last post? I have had two z-plasty operations myself, both of which have failed, so I relate a lot to yours posts. It's a hard condition to overcome, especially once there have been lots of operations. In my case, the wound has gradually worked its way down towards the bowels over the last 2-3 years. It's now such a challenge to keep the area very clean like it should be. Still, I'm hoping I won't have this forever. I really hope you're winning with it!
